John Sun
John Sun, President and CEO of QCOM and Director of the Board, is responsible for setting the strategic direction and managing the operations of the company. In this role, he oversees strategy setting, operations, financial management and business development.
Prior to joining QCOM, John was vice president of a communications software business unit at Lucent Technologies responsible for business management, product management and software development of the service management and network management portfolios. Earlier in his career, he was a key contributor to DEFINITY Communications System, now the flagship product of Avaya, and DMS-100, the leading product of Nortel.
Daniel Wang
Daniel is Chief Technology Officer, co-founder of QCOM and Chairman of the Board. He is responsible for leading several outsourced projects, providing guidance to technical staff, and serving the marketing role for obtaining new contracts. He was instrumental in leading a two-member team to a sixty staff company and in becoming a preferred outsourcing firm of Lucent.
Daniel was a distinguished member of technical staff at Lucent. His direct contributions include the development of network surveillance systems, SONET/SDH management systems, mediation devices, service delivery system for cable modems and the various protocols such as TL1, CORBA, Q3, TCP/IP, TABS, TBOS and BISYNC.
